What you’ll do
The Business Development Manager participates in the development and acquisition of key account relationships on a national level; focusing on the establishment and maintenance of the strategic partnership. The role will define long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, acquire and build new strategic partnerships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Prospect for potential new strategic accounts/ partnerships on a national level and increase business generating revenue
  • Discover and explore opportunities for potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Identify and build relationships with potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities and recommending equity investments
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions and examine risks and potentials; estimate partners’ needs and goals
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, develop and negotiate contracts, and integrate contract requirements with business operations
  • Cold call as appropriate within market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging network
  • Provide reports on competitor information, insights and initiatives.
  • Support the acquisition and development of strategic partnerships and associations that align with our mission and strategic direction
  • Gather and communicate information on competitors and presents specific competitor strategies
  • Develop and maintain market knowledge and understands the decision making structures of target customers
  • Present brand and product offerings; by fully understanding our Value Proposition and is able to sell a solution based on customer needs to create long term value

 

What you bring

  • 10+ years of sales or marketing experience
  • Strong account management experience
  • Working knowledge of commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated skills in strategically retaining and growing key accounts.
  • Relationship building skills
  • Superior Presentation skills and Strong business acumen is required.
  • Communication with “C suite”
