The Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC) is proud to officially launch its 2026 Awards Program, celebrating outstanding leadership, innovation, and meaningful contributions across Canada’s construction industry.

Each year, CAWIC recognizes individuals and organizations who are driving progress, championing equity, and reshaping the future of construction. As the 2026 awards open for submissions, we invite you to apply or nominate a deserving leader who is making a lasting impact.

    We are now accepting applications and nominations for the 2026 awards.     DEI EXCELLENCE AWARD

    The CAWIC DEI Excellence Award celebrates an outstanding individual that demonstrates ongoing leadership and commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive construction industry.

    EMERGING LEADER AWARD

    The CAWIC Emerging Leader Award celebrates an outstanding individual who shows exceptional potential, ambition, and achievements as a woman starting her career in the construction industry. 

    INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP AWARD

    The award acknowledges an individual who has made significant contributions to women in construction, the industry, or their organization through their leadership, action, and commitment.

    VOLUNTEER OF YEAR AWARD

    The CAWIC Volunteer of the Year Award celebrates an outstanding CAWIC Member who goes above and beyond as volunteer to support and activate success at CAWIC.
     

    CORPORATE MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

    This award honours a company that actively supports CAWIC’s mission and demonstrates exceptional leadership in promoting the advancement of women in construction.

    STUDENT MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

    The Student Member of the Year recognizes an outstanding student who actively supports CAWIC’s mission and demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing women in construction.

    MALE ALLYSHIP AWARD

    The CAWIC Male Allyship Award recognizes a male leader in the construction industry who has
    demonstrated outstanding commitment to advancing women in construction.

    PRESIDENT'S AWARD

    This award is the highest honor given to a CAWIC Member by the current President of the Board of Directors who has exhibited unwavering dedication and made exceptional lifelong contributions to women in construction.
