Jamie West
Country President, Ramudden Global North America (Canada)
Jamie West is a dynamic senior executive with over 25 years of experience in roadbuilding and road safety infrastructure. A third-generation road builder, Jamie began her career at her family’s company, Highway Clearing and Guardrail Fencing Ltd., where she developed hands-on expertise in administration, accounting, operations, and estimating. In 2014, she became President of Highway Clearing and led the company through a successful merger with Peninsula Construction in 2019. She went on to hold executive leadership roles at Peninsula Construction and RoadBlock Solutions before joining RSG International. Today, Jamie serves as the Canadian Country President for Ramudden Global North America, overseeing a group of infrastructure and road safety businesses across Canada.
Jamie is known for her bold leadership and strategic vision, particularly in guiding teams through periods of growth, integration, and transformation. Her current focus is on driving operational excellence, elevating customer experience, and empowering teams through a clear, purpose-driven strategy: Rethink. Reshape. Refocus.
A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Jamie is a strong voice for women in construction and an active mentor to emerging female leaders in the trades. She is a director of the Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC) and the Heavy Construction Association of Regional Niagara (HCARN), and a member of the Niagara Construction Association’s Women in Construction Committee, where she works to increase visibility and access for women across the industry.
Jamie is also a committed advocate for transgender inclusion in construction and regularly engages with students and early-career professionals to promote skilled trades as innovative and rewarding career paths. Her influence extends beyond the industry through her support of community initiatives addressing food insecurity and families impacted by childhood cancer.
Jamie’s leadership is defined by purpose, resilience, and a deep commitment to building a stronger, more inclusive future for construction in Canada.
