In 2024, the Canadian Association of Women in Construction (CAWIC) is launching a new awards program to recognize outstanding leadership and action across the construction industry. If you know of an outstanding individual or organization that deserves to be recognized, please nominate them for a 2024 CAWIC Excellence Award.
The following awards are available:
- Industry Leadership Award – The CAWIC Industry Leadership Award acknowledges an individual who has made significant contributions to women in construction, the industry, or their organization through their leadership, action, and commitment. Click here for the nominations form.
- Emerging Leader Award – The CAWIC Emerging Leader Award celebrates an outstanding individual who shows exceptional potential, ambition, and achievements as a woman starting her career in the construction industry. Click here for the nominations form.
- Volunteer of the Year – The CAWIC Volunteer of the Year Award celebrates an outstanding Member who goes above and beyond to support and activate success at CAWIC. Click here for the nominations form.
- DEI Excellence Award – The CAWIC DEI Excellence Award celebrates an outstanding individual that demonstrates ongoing leadership and commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive construction industry. Click here for the nominations form.
- President’s Award – The CAWIC President’s Award is the highest honor given to a CAWIC Member who has exhibited unwavering dedication and made exceptional lifelong contributions to women in construction. Click here for the nominations form.
Nominees will be reviewed and assessed based on the information submitted, and awards will be given out at the 2024 CAWIC Annual National Conference taking place in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. To learn more about this year’s Annual Conference, please visit www.cawic.ca/conference.
Please submit your completed nomination form by August 7, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Please note: to nominate an individual for a 2024 CAWIC Excellence Award, you must be a CAWIC member. All award winners must have a valid CAWIC membership.
