We are seeking a project management professional who is well organized and has the business acumen to
ensure projects are running smoothly and within cost parameters. We are looking for a team player with solid
communication skills (both verbal and written). A driven individual with a passion for the contractor

Value of the role:
Prepare construction estimates based on quotations, drawings, and specifications to win new and
existing business.
Create timelines and track construction project schedules to ensure teams are being utilized most
effectively.
Visit worksites to build relationships with key staff, monitor progress and maintain communication with
the Foreman running the site.
Assist in preparation of pre-construction and construction services proposals to maximize efficiencies
and profit.
Examine and analyze tenders and make recommendations to increase likelihood of winning them.
Follow the company cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
Communicate regularly with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to build strong relationships.
Research and analyze cost data for review and presentation.
Adhere to all company H&S policies and procedures while following OHSA and construction regulations
demonstrating that safety is a top priority.
Skills and experience that we value in this role are:
Civil Engineering or Construction Management diploma is an asset
Proven experience in estimating within the civil construction industry or related field
Computer skills and software experience including Microsoft Office Applications.
Experience with Bid2Win, Heavy Bid, Acumatica, or Maestro is an asset.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
Knowledge of MTO book 7 Traffic Control Requirements.
Experience with hazard assessments and controls in the construction industry.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A good health and safety record.
