The ideal candidate will have great analytical and critical thinking skills, be proficient in excel, quick learner, systems savvy and comfortable with fast paced operations.

Previous Logistics, Transportation, Business, Systems or IT Education or Experience are an asset but not required.

Contract position with BDP international

Transportation Support (Data Entry Clerk) for Petro Canada Lubricants (Mississauga office)

  • Management of routings managed through our SAP
  • Rate Quotation Process
  • Routes are created during the rate quotation process that is handled by our Global Logistics Team but when the rates are being provided there is a routing guideline that is entered in SAP for final transmission to our Rail Network through EDI.
  • Rail Demurrage Processing
  • Data entry in SAP with the rate and routing into Customer Master in SAP
  • Stat Freight – which is entering a rate per 100 L or 100 US Gallon rate (Simple Math Requirements and Intermediated Microsoft Excel Use or willingness to learn)
  • Freight Audit –  Auditing the invoices based off rate template that is being provided. Obtaining a rate in a Excel Spreadsheet and comparing to the invoice that has been received and validation for payment processing.
  • Accrual Management obtaining statement of accounts and validation of payments have been processed within 3rd party provider and Petro Canada payments
  • Tracking and Tracing of Rail Cars
  • Scope can be expanded to other additional requirements based off business needs and capabilities of the candidate.
  • Supporting Rail dispatcher as required, including coverage.

Hybrid Work Week – 3 days in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday –  Monday and Friday will be at home working days but there will be a list of tasks and assignments that will be provided to the employee.

Compensation $22/hr
