About your team
Our Market Development team is made up of Marketing, Business Development, & Product Management professionals.
Together, having our clients’ best interests in mind, we work collaboratively to address customers’ needs and provide the design and construction community with inspiring architectural products for thoughtful spaces.

Day in the life of a Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative, you will work with customers to grow deep and wide long-lasting relationships. You will communicate our value proposition through LinkedIn, email, phone, our website, chat line, as well as travel to industry conferences.
We’ll be growing our next generation of client partnerships from the ground up.

Duties and Responsibilities
Market research projects, and Business Development
Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to begin deep and long-lasting relationships
Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
Researching potential leads from internal sources, web searches, or digital resources (Insight)
Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc.
Answering potential client questions and follow-up calls
Working with the Market Development Department to develop our long term goals
Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
Building pipelines with strategic partners and team members
Maintaining database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information

Must have
A suitable candidate for this position must have the following
Curiosity: a penchant for seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback and an openness to learning and change
Insight and entrepreneurial: the ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities and innovations to achieve great results
Engagement: a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people
Determination and perseverance: the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity
Collaborative: Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. Team players should be humble, hungry, and smart.

8-10 years experience in strategic account management, and development with Architects and GC’s in North America
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
Eager to expand our company with deep, wide and long-lasting relationships
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Some travel to conferences and client presentations across North America
