Toronto has a large stock of residential high rise towers.The rising cost of energy is a major problem.The
Tower Renewal Guidelines
developed by the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto is an important response to that problem. This presentation will describe the issues relating to overcladding and outline the funding mechanisms that can be used to support the required changes.
Brian Burton
is a regular columnist for Glass Canada Magazine and is the author of over 300 articles on building and landscaping science.
