    They may install glass, they may even install ceilings, but unlike their sisters in the corporate corridors - who have broken the glass ceiling - women in construction haven't made strides in the same numbers.

    Those who do choose a career in construction have a new ally.

    The Building Industry and Land Development Association, which is the voice of the residential land development, home building and professional renovation industry in the Greater Toronto Area, recently reamed up with the Canadian Association of Women in Construction.
