CAWIC MEMBERSHIP?

CAWIC is an organization of and for women in the construction industry and related fields. It is open to all women working in the field. It encourages businesses in the industry to join as Corporate Members. All employees are then eligible to join as Employee Members, at the special rate of $110/year. CAWIC also encourages students who are preparing to enter the industry to join, it accepts Student Members at the very special rate of $40/year. Last, but not least, CAWIC encourages individuals who work in areas that provide services to the construction industry and related fields to join as Affiliate Members ($60/year).

0. CAWIC News (Free) Subscription period: Unlimited Use this free option if you want to receive information from CAWIC about news and future events. Messages will go out by email. You may unsubscribe at any time.

1. Individual Member ($140.00 (CAD)) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Open to women who are, or have been, actively employed in the construction industry or construction related services. Membership belongs to the individual and is non-transferable. Membership includes subscription to the CAWIC Newsletter,discounts on convention and educational meetings, mentoring, members-only functions, listing in the online membership directory, networking opportunities, members-only access to on-line information through the CAWIC website, voting privileges and more.

2. Corporate Member ($350.00 (CAD)) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Membership as a corporation in CAWIC. Corporate Members will be recognized as sponsors of CAWIC, and the organization logo included on the CAWIC website. The individual who applies for the corporation will be a Corporate Employee Member, with no annual fee for that individual membership. All other employees of Corporate Members can enroll in CAWIC at a discounted rate of $110/year (regular rate is $140/year).

3. Corporate Employee Member ($110.00 (CAD)) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Employee Members must be employed by a Corporate Member of CAWIC at the time of their application. Email addresses will be used to confirm employment. Employee Members will enjoy all of the benefits of Individual Members, but must continue in the employ of a Corporate Member in order to enjoy this special membership rate.

4. Affiliate Member ($60.00 (CAD)) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Open to individuals not in the construction industry, but whose activities indirectly support the goals and objectives of CAWIC. Affiliate Members cannot vote or hold office, but otherwise enjoy the benefits of an Individual Member.

5. Student Member ($40.00 (CAD)) Subscription period: 1 year Automatic renewal: no Open to students in vocational education programs and construction related programs at colleges and universities. Student Members cannot vote or hold office, but otherwise enjoy all the benefits of an Individaul Member
